Jessye had a memorable 2024, being awarded:
- Youth Sailor the Year at the British Yachting Awards
- Young Sailor of the Year by Yachting Journalist Association
- Joint winner of the Cowes Youth Trophy for Flying 15 success.
Jessye is a true all-around sailor. His racing pedigree spans ILCAs, Etchells, and mini & quarter tonners. But his impact goes far beyond the water. Jessye is a passionate advocate for others’ development, from engineering the double-handed RSYC event for girls in July, to promoting sailing to primary school children and speaking at the National Outdoor Education Conference. He also drives young dinghy sailors to training, is a qualified keelboat instructor, and coaches to support his studies at Solent University.
