Winter sailing continues

Despite the extreme temperatures at the moment, the sailing continues unabated for the GCA students.

With extra thermal layers and as much determination as ever the students embrace the challenge that is winter sailing.  Year 9 girls took to the water in West reservoir this week, while, Kai and Jessye, from the senior team, put in the graft to get the younger sailors Lasers to King George Sailing Club for training and then the Selden SailJuice Winter Series King George Gallop.

It is wonderful to see the senior boys support coach and mentor the junior boys. They play a crucial role in the development of the young sailors, as their guidance not only imparts skills and knowledge but it instills a sense of camaraderie within the sailing programme, adding tremendous value.

Well done and thanks to everyone who ensure that our students can get on the water all year round!
