We are extremely grateful to all our donors, without whom our charity and GCA’s pioneering programme, would not exist.
Income
We are very thankful that we can rely on a healthy mix of donors, including committed generous individuals, corporate partners, grant making organisations and regular monthly supporters.
This long-term support helps build resilience and continuity.
We are also very grateful for the one-off donations we receive from people inspired by the achievement of our young sailors and the changes that the programme delivers.

Expenditure
The cost of delivering sail training and maintaining boats is ever increasing and demand for the core programme is expanding. In order to sustain current activities, we need to raise a minimum of £300,000 every year.
We run a lean operation with one employed member of staff, generating over £8 income for every £1 we spend on fundraising.
We are grateful that in 2025, with help from key donors, we were able to achieve our long-held goal of setting up a contingency fund to mitigate key risks: unexpected boat maintainance and loss of major donors.
