We would like to extend sincere thanks to the organisers and participants of The Russell-Cooke Silicon Cup Regatta, the largest IT networking event taking place in UK waters for their donation to The Greig City Academy sailing programme. As one of three named ‘life changing charities’ we received a massive £16,000 of monies raised from the 2023 edition of the regatta. Along with some students, Mr. John Holt, who runs the sailing programme, attended a recent networking reception event at the RORC, and took receipt of the cheque.

This is a significant amount of money for a charity like ours and it will go directly into the sailing programme which has been running for ten years.

We are also thrilled that we will remain a nominated charity for the 2024 edition of the Silicon Cup, for the third year in a row.
