Sailing into Opportunity

Ahead of Sail Grand Prix’s battle in Portsmouth 19 & 20th July,  Sir Ben Ainslie’s Emirate GBR SailGP team invited a group of GCA students to their office in central London for an unforgettable experience.

The students enjoyed an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the thrilling world of professional sailing and the diverse career paths it offers. The visit concluded with an inspiring Q&A session featuring Olympic champions Sir Ben Ainslie, Hannah Mills, and Dylan Fletcher-Scott. And it doesn’t end there! Some of the students had a one in a lifetime opportunity to join the shore teams in Portsmouth at the event itself and see first-hand some of what Kai has experienced in the last year.
