Earlier this year, Greig City Academy alumnus Kai was selected for a prestigious internship with Emirates GBR and SailGP teams. It’s another milestone in his extraordinary sailing career. Sir Ben Ainslie, renowned for his leadership, is passionate about breaking down barriers and providing greater access to the world of sailing. To make this vision a reality, he partnered with GCA to create a unique internship programme designed to open doors for talented individuals from all backgrounds.

Kai stood out as the perfect candidate, after winning the Cowes Week Young Skipper Trophy last year. Sir Ben has high hopes for him, describing his journey as one with an “impressive future ahead.”
